FAITH & PRAYER

Sometimes the things we want are not wrong; they are simply not always necessary. We may desire more comfort, more opportunity, more resources, or a different season of life. God is not offended when we bring those desires to Him. The key is learning how to ask with honesty while still trusting His wisdom. At the crossroads of our plans and God’s plans, prayer helps us surrender without losing hope.
Questions for a God Chat
What are three things you want, but do not necessarily need?
How would those three things enhance your life?
How would those three things enhance the lives of others?
If you do not receive all of those things, will you still be able to keep growing, serving, and walking
His in purpose?
Once you have clarity about your wants, take them to God in prayer. Do not be afraid to ask. God is not troubled by your desires, and He already knows what is in your heart. But after you ask, allow room for His perfect will.
